Frequently Asked Questions
Getting Started
Yes, absolutely. We accept all major HSA and FSA cards for consultations, memberships, and lab work.
We are a cash-based practice, which allows us to provide a higher level of personalized care without insurance restrictions. However, we can provide a Superbill for you to submit for out-of-network reimbursement.
Visits for clients outside of Arizona are offered on a case-by-case basis. Please schedule a Discovery Call to discuss your case directly with Dr. Morse.
Yes. As a licensed Naturopathic Physician in Arizona, Dr. Morse has full prescriptive rights. This includes hormones (Testosterone, Estrogen, etc.), weight loss medications (Semaglutide), antibiotics, and other necessary prescriptions.
We will send a digital lab order directly to a LabCorp or Quest Diagnostics near you. You simply walk in at your convenience to have your blood drawn. The results are sent directly to us for review.
Medical Weight Loss
Our goal is long-term metabolic correction, not just quick weight loss. We use the medication as a tool while helping you build the muscle and lifestyle habits that protect your new weight long-term.
This is a valid concern with rapid weight loss. That’s why our program emphasizes protein intake and resistance training to ensure you lose fat, not muscle.
These medications are generally suitable for individuals with a BMI over 30, or over 27 with a weight-related condition. However, we conduct a full medical review to ensure it is safe and appropriate for your specific health history.
The most common side effects are mild nausea or digestive changes as your body adjusts. We start with a low dose and titrate slowly to minimize these effects, and we provide support to manage them if they occur.
Hormone Therapy (TRT & Perimenopause)
Not necessarily. While injections are often the most effective method for TRT, we also offer creams, gels, and other modalities. We design the plan that fits your lifestyle.
Yes, when properly monitored. Unlike “low T centers” that might rush you, we prioritize safety with comprehensive lab panels and regular follow-ups to ensure your levels remain in the optimal, healthy range.
Most patients report improved energy and mood within the first 3-4 weeks, with physical changes (muscle tone, libido) improving steadily over 3-6 months.
Hormone therapy is often a long-term commitment to maintain optimal levels, but it is not a “trap.” We can adjust or stop treatment safely at any time under medical supervision.
We prioritize Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy (BHRT). These hormones have the exact same chemical structure as the hormones your body produces naturally, which often leads to better results and fewer side effects compared to synthetic alternatives.
